"A few weeks ago, I had an exquisite time trying the Le Luth Doré® 8c Renaissance lute. First of all, the wood, mottled maple, is magnificent. The sounding board is neat, well grained and decorated with sober and nice rosette. It is a beautiful instrument. When I took it in my hands, I felt its weight and robustness. It is not fragile. A lute I can recommend to young students. Another asset is the neck that can be easily gripped. Finally... the sound. This lute produces a soft, flannelly and intimate sound, while reacting to the different attacks. The low and high pitches are nicely balanced. It will be a great chance both for young lutenists and advanced musicians to own such a rich instrument with regard to the conception and fabrication as well as the sound."
