"The LLD® Weiss 13c Baroque lute that I tried has very good balance, lots of color and homogeneity in the passage from one string to another, whether in the melody or in the harmony. The sound in all registers is clear and there is no need to force in different positions on the neck. The sound quality is very beautiful and the lute responds with a warm, what I call a true baroque lute sound, defined and not full of extraneous sounds or too excessive resonance. The bass is rich and the fundamental predominates. Regarding the 8c Renaissance lute LLD ® which I also had the opportunity to try, it possesses a very bright sound and is super responsive! It is very well adjusted and the sound is even along the neck. The sound is very loud and clear. A truly amazing instrument, specially for this price! It's already without a doubt a good concert instrument. Honestly, I myself do not have a Renaissance lute this good... In both cases of the two lutes I tried the wood is of excellent quality and the finish is also of outstanding quality."
