Matthew Weinman séduit par le luth baroque 13c LLD®

Although it is only the very first prototype of a baroque lute with thirteen courses designed by Le Luth Doré®, the instrument already stands out for its remarkable craftsmanship.

Every detail shows a precision worthy of the highest standards of lute making. The playability is among the finest I have ever experienced: the tone is clear, perfectly balanced, and to my ears, warmly resonant.

Far from being a simple “student lute”, this is truly a concert-quality instrument.

The pegs turn with a smoothness comparable to that of modern tuning machines. This is usually where non-luthier-made instruments fail; however, the Le Luth Doré® model equals—or even exceeds—the standards of traditional luthiery. The even tension and precise tuning ensure outstanding stability.
